“VALIDATED”
By becoming a certified Moral Courage Mentor, Troy Williams feels “validated.” Says the Executive Director of Equality Utah, “I’ve had distress about the deterioration of identity politics into call-out culture, privilege shaming and demands for ideological purity. Diving into the work of Moral Courage made me realize there is a smarter way to engage. I’ve found answers to a lot of what’s been gnawing at my soul.”
Troy, along with three colleagues from Equality Utah, trained and got certified as MC Mentors in 2022. They’re now teaching the Diversity Without Division master class to LGBTQ+ teens.
