The Foundation places particular emphasis on bringing its message to students of all ages by encouraging school officials to incorporate moral courage, conflict resolution, ethics and citizenship into school curricula.
Our program grew out of favorable public response to "The Other Side of Faith" a film produced by Sy Rotter in 1990, which describes the rescue of 13 women, men and children, all Jewish fugitives in German occupied Poland in 1942-1944 by a 16 year old Polish Catholic woman, Stefania Podgorska - Burzminski.
The Foundation believes that by documenting such stories, these acts of moral courage will be remembered and honored. Through its documentary film award program the Foundation encourages new film productions which recognize current acts of moral courage, underscoring the need for honoring individuals who are making a positive difference today so that, "Never again" take on new meaning.
The Foundation is a not-for-profit, non-political, educational organization registered with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service Code under Section 501(c)(3).
